To offer our Community a broad spectrum of classes which will ignite and sustain their spiritual search.

What is Holistic Science?

The unity of body, heart, mind and soul to achieve spiritual heights and spiritual equilibrium. To address the “whole” person by facilitating their forward movement on the spiritual path: physically, emotionally, mentally, and psychologically.

Challenging complacency and dissolving inertia.

Evaluating strengths and weakness to bring seekers into their own personal fruition.

Introducing and exposing seekers to a variety of spiritual traditions and practices so they can better choose their own path.

To provide a map and disciplines for the Seeker to walk the talk.

To provide a safe haven for the discussion and exchange of ideas.

Order ~ Light ~ Harmony

We will explore cosmologies, ancient and modern, to arrive at an up-to-date picture of the Universe.

This will necessitate exploring the creation theories from religious traditions as well as the latest theories of modern science.

It also will take into consideration the methods applied to reach those cosmological conclusions

Thought ~ Mind ~ Intelligence

This will be the study of Philosophical issues such as epistemology, ontology, and metaphysics as well as logic, analysis, and the art of dialogue.

We will be exploring Philosophy, ancient and modern and show where they differ and where they intersect.

With special emphasis on the importance of critical thinking, we will confront dogmatism and presumed beliefs.

Sacred Tale ~ Heroic Journey ~ Follow Your Bliss

This is the heart of the path. If the Seeker does not see him or herself as a Hero on a journey, the path will look like a barren desert, a wasteland.

We shall explore the themes of myths from around the world, across cultures and history, guided by the insights of Joseph Campbell, the premier mythographer of recent times.

We will enter the realms of archetypes: gods and goddesses, wizards and dragons, among others, to emerge victorious and refreshed to face the challenges of our lives anew.

Nature ~ Matter

In these lectures we shall explore scientific theories concerning the way Nature works.

We will investigate the latest in theoretical science regarding Chaos theory and the Holographic paradigm which quantum-relativistic physics opened the door to. Issues such as the role of the observer in deciding the outcome of an experiment will be emphasized.

Our speaker in this series is Samir Al-Hamed. Samir is a TU graduate majoring in religion and philosophy. His previous education was in Aeronautical Engineering. After a lifetime of search for meaning in the historical connections from the Sumerians to the Americans, he developed his own thesis on the History of Civilizations and the Western World. He was born in Baghdad, Iraq and migrated to the United States in 1984 and has lived here ever since. Samir has a commitment to sharing his knowledge of his culture and has a passion for dispelling the misconceptions that surround that region.
